During the COVID-19 pandemic, we designed a series of social-distancing cultural and social events.
The online meetings “Somethin’…” evolved into a mini festival, “Somethin’ of Summer”, to defy the constraints of public life. Once the corona loosened, we organised the first ever live “Somethin of Summer” outdoors, taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus, which was a challenge of its own.
The corona has gone away, but the events at Letni kino on the last days of July until the Festival nasedlega kita have stayed.
You can find an event for anybody. The festival programme consists of sports tournaments, art workshops and music evenings. And as the Letni kino is an idyllic chill-out zone for hot summer days and long evenings, you can come under the treetop to play a board game or just for a drink.
The programme is organised together with the eMCe Plac Youth Cultural Club, the Šalek Student Club, the Association Nasedli kit, the Šalek Perun archery club, and the KID Comadres Association.
