Let's go explore the world and meet new things – people, mindsets, cultures, good practices, languages, cuisine, values, and everything else that seems far away!

ERASMUS +
You know you can get involved, right?

WHAT IS A YOUTH EXCHANGE?

Youth exchanges give groups of young people from different countries the chance to spend time together and explore topics that bring them together. The exchange lasts for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 21 days.

Practically all…. youth!

The age limit is 13 to 30 years.

You can participate as a participant or as a mentor to a group of young people. What works for you?

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

It's important that your team spirit is strong, because you'll be part of a smaller – and larger – group of young people during the exchange. There really is no room for individualism! To be adaptable and to believe that there is no strength without unity. The success of the whole group depends on your contribution! To dive into it with a positive attitude. All worries are unnecessary! To follow the timetable and take an active part in the programme organised by the host organisation. Give it your all! To embrace other cultures and listen to different opinions with an open mind. Respect yourself and others!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Practically nothing, you need the money just for leisure.

The project covers:

  • Transport (return air ticket or other travel costs)
  • Food
  • Accommodation

All administrative matters are handled by Youth Centre Velenje, you have no obligations regarding that. Cool, huh?
