As part of the wider revitalisation of the Old Town core, the Old Town of Velenje area has been completely renovated, including the Old Bakery.
On the ground floor, with access to the atrium, we rent out a classroom that can host various workshops and seminar activities. It accommodates up to 20 people. The Bakery of Ideas also houses the Stari trg Café with an exhibition space and the best cream slices in town.

As part of the larger revitalisation of the old town centre, the old industrial building where young artists used to realise their creative ideas gave way to the Bakery of Ideas – a new hub of creativity in Old Velenje. The house of promising cultural and artistic content has five studios, which were allocated to artists and creatives through a public tender.

After its renovation, Stari trg under the castle hill has become a venue for various events and a social hub. In collaboration with the local community, public institutions, associations and other organisations, local providers, and individuals, we serve up a delicious story at a long table, turn must into wine, give presents to children with St. Nicholas, and host zither players and literary figures, musicians and stand-up comedians, and other artistic souls.
