    What do you do?

At Youth Centre Velenje, I'm involved in video production, filming, photography, and live streaming of different cultural and other events.

My favourite childhood memory is when I got my first computer and spent hours playing video games and chatting on mIRC. My first associations with youth were hanging out with friends and classmates, visiting concerts and festivals, and rehearsing at the place where we spent most days blasting punk at full volume.

The time I spent in my youth was crazy. Back then, there were no mobile phones or social networks, so everything was more "natural". Long sleepless weekends were spent in the park in front of the high school, where we played guitar, sang, and had something to drink. We visited the youth centre a lot, where we hung out at music events, went skateboarding at the abandoned summer pool where we set up our own skate park, and in winter we snowboarded and made jumps at the Šalek ski slope.

The time young people are living in today is different. Everything happens faster; it seems there's less personal communication and too much use of social media. Today, young people have a lot of opportunities for self-development, as well as nice places where they can go and improve themselves.

As a teenager, the hardest thing for me was getting up in the morning, waiting for the bus, doing homework, and attending math class. From that time, I miss the good old Slovenian tolar.

With friends, I liked going to the cinema and concerts, we snowboarded a lot, played video games, and did silly things.

I liked, though I shouldn't have, coming home late, especially from a good gig. I started smoking as a teenager, but otherwise, I didn't have any special restrictions.

Today, I keep myself young by playing computer games as much as time allows, hehe.

Today, I would tell my younger self: you had a fun childhood! You have to try everything but with balance. Live as if today is your last day.

What I like most about working with young people are their ideas and different views of the world. And the fact that I can offer them knowledge in the field I'm proficient in.
