What do you do?
At Efenkova I take care of the interior spaces and exterior parts of the building and the surroundings. I check the functioning of all devices and installations and educate users about energy conservation. I renovate worn-out parts of buildings and find suitable contractors for larger and more demanding projects. I help prepare rooms in the youth hotel and welcome guests.
My favourite childhood memory is riding and performing tricks on a bike and sledding with sleds, bags, tubes, and other improvised items that were available, all without any personal protection.
My first associations with youth are a bike, snow, and a ball.
The time I spent in my youth was simple, carefree, and lasted 100 years...
The time young people live in today seems to just fly by; you get and find out things in an instant, but you don't have time to be children...
As a teenager, the hardest thing for me was going to school.
From that time, I miss the carefreeness the most.
With friends, we loved to play hide-and-seek in the forest.
I liked to do many things I shouldn't have... As a child, I loved to ride my bike and return home late, and as a teenager, I started smoking cigarettes secretly.
Today, I keep myself young with my digger, which I bought to help build my house. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to be an engineer and drive these big, mighty machines.
Today, I would tell my younger self to never grow up.
What I like most about working with young people is that I still feel young with them, and I can pass on my knowledge and experience.
