What do you do?
I am the head of MMC Nukleus, an experienced organizer of concerts, multimedia intermedia festivals, and projects, quick to learn and resourceful. I am in charge of managing the 3D printer at Nukleus.
My favourite memories from childhood and youth are exploring nature, assembling bikes from spare parts, and riding a BMX.
My first associations with youth involve being a singer or bassist in various local music bands, an activist in punk and hardcore culture (publishing, fanzines...), and traveling to various parts of Europe (performing with different band formations). In my youth, I was inspired by the band 7 Seconds and their song 'Young Until I Die,' which has remained my personal motto. I spent my youth during the transition from socialism to capitalism. As a musician, I traveled to alternative concerts across Slovenia (then there were problems with skinheads, especially around Ljubljana), and I got to know the natural beauty of Slovenia at a young age. It was nice to grow up without the informational overload that comes with using the internet.
The time young people live in today is what you make of it. Sadly, the main principle of today's era is material benefit. However, not everyone is born the same. Some find that enough, while others might want more social values.
As a teenager, nothing was particularly hard for me. From that time, I miss having more free time after school and later, work.
With friends, I enjoyed developing new ideas, and projects, and of course, organizing events and Slovenian tours for foreign bands.
Today, I keep myself young with downhill mountain biking, creating experimental music, painting, and assembling Warhammer 40K minis...
Today, I would advise my younger self to work on inventing a time machine and go back to those days.
What I enjoy most about working with young people is passing on knowledge.
